Saya Kamitani, Sareee, AZM And Others Secure Spots In STARDOM 5★STAR GP 2025 Knockout Stage Plus Remaining Scenarios

With the STARDOM 5★STAR GP 2025 block action phase winding down, we are learning which competitors will be advancing to the knockout stage of the tournament.

STARDOM held its 10th night of the 5★STAR GP 2025 on Aug, 16th in front of 1,293 fans at the Yokohama Budokan. In the main event Sareee faced off against Momo Watanabe in a match that had become somewhat personal for the two due to a verbal battle on X recently. Sareee was able to defeat Watanabe with her wrist-clutch Uranage at the 12:29 mark of the bout. The victory gave Sareee nine points and sole possession of first place in the Blue Stars B Block. With the win, Sareee secured her spot in the knockout stage of the 5★STAR GP 2025.

The current World of STARDOM Champion Saya Kamitani remained undefeated in the tournament as she beat Mei Seira in a thriller with her Star Crusher finisher. Kamitani punched her ticket to the knockout stage with her victory over Seira.

• 5★STAR GP – Blue Stars – Block A: Saya Iida [6] defeats Aya Sakura [2] (8:03) with a Vertical Drop Brainbuster.
• 5★STAR GP – Red Stars – Block A: Waka Tsukiyama [2] defeats Azusa Inaba  [6] (0:48) with an Aussie Suplex.
• 5★STAR GP – Red Stars – Block A: Bea Priestley [8] defeats Lady C [4] (8:36) with the Plan BEA.
• 5★STAR GP – Blue Stars – Block B: Konami [6] defeats HANAKO [7] (12:15) with a doujime sleeper hold.
• 5★STAR GP – Red Stars – Block B: Tomoka Inaba  [6] defeats Natsuko Tora [8] (12:46) with the Ichigeki Hissatsu Tomoka Kick.
• 5★STAR GP – Red Stars – Block B: Starlight Kid [8] vs. Rina [9] – Time Limit Draw (15:00).
• 5★STAR GP – Red Stars – Block A: Saya Kamitani [12] defeats Mei Seira [7] (11:48) with the Star Crusher.
• 5★STAR GP – Blue Stars – Block B: Sareee [9] defeats Momo Watanabe [8] (12:29) with a wrist-clutch Uranage.

Here are the competitors from each block that have secured a spot in the tournament knockout stage plus the remaining scenarios as we head into the final night of block action on Aug. 17th:

RED STARS A Block:

• Saya Kamitani and Bea Priestley have secured spots in the knockout stage
• If Hanan scores even 1 point in tomorrow’s match against Yuna Mizumori, she will advance from the block.
• If Hanan scores zero points, she will face Mei Seira in a tiebreaker match.

RED STARS B Block:

• AZM has secured her spot in the knockout stage
• For Natsupoi and Starlight Kid, whoever wins between them will advance.
• If their match ends in a draw, there’s a possibility that 3 or 4 people will be tied with 9 points. In that scenario, Rina, who lost to both Starlight Kid and Natsupoi, is likely to be eliminated.
• If there’s a clear winner in the Natsupoi vs. Starlight Kid match, then Rina will finish third and advance from the block.

BLUE STARS A Block:

• Saori Anou and Bozilla have secured their spots in the knockout stage.
• Ami Sohrei will advance from the block if she scores even one point in her match against Bozilla tomorrow.
• If Sohrei scores 0 points, Iida scores 2 points, and Amasaki scores 2 points → Three-way tie.
• If Sohrei scores 0 points, Iida scores 0-1 points, and Amasaki scores 2 points → Miyu Amasaki advances.
• If Sohrei scores 0 points, Iida scores 0-2 points, and Amasaki scores 0-1 points → Ami Sohrei advances.

BLUE STARS B Block:

• Sareee advances to knockout stage
• HANAKO and Suzu Suzuki will advance from the block if they win tomorrow. Suzuki Suzu is guaranteed to advance with even a single point.
• If HANAKO gets a draw and Suzu Suzuki loses, four wrestlers, including Rana Yagami, could all be tied with 8 points.
• Momo Watanabe will advance if HANAKO fails to score any points.
