Saya Kamitani and Momo Watanabe Come to Blows at STARDOM in OSAKA-BAY

By Noah Leatherland

Tensions between Saya Kamitani and Momo Watanabe have built and built since ‘The Black Peach’ returned to action. Those tensions finally boiled over at STARDOM in OSAKA-BAY, with the two H.A.T.E. team members coming to blows in the middle of their 8-woman tag team match.

Whilst targeting Akira Kurogane of Mi Vida Loca, a little miscommunication led to Kamitani and Watanabe colliding. Despite the accidental nature of the impact, it was enough to set them both off into a flurry of blows.

Despite the brief moment of friendly fire, the H.A.T.E. team pulled off the win in Osaka, with Watanabe later finishing off Kurogane and scoring the pinfall. Relishing in the victory, Watanabe took the microphone and looked ahead to the STARDOM’s upcoming summer tournament.

Even after making my comeback, Black Peach is still on fire, ain’t she! Ah, there’s been a lot of annoying crap going on, but whatever. As long as you win, that’s all that matters. That’s what H.A.T.E. is all about, right? Isn’t that right? As long as you win. And with this momentum, Black Peach’s gonna win the 5★STAR GP for the second year in a row! The one taking the 5★STAR is me, Momo Watanabe. Look forward to it, you pieces of shit!

While Watanabe was much more joyous, Kamitani had frustrations to vent in her post-match comments. After trading blows here, Kamitani is looking forward to a proper match between the two in the STARDOM 5★STAR GP.

It’s just… so annoying! It’s so frustrating! I can’t hold it in anymore, but… I guess Saya-sama has no choice but to be the bigger person here. Momo Watanabe… I don’t think we need words anymore. So, on August 3rd at Korakuen Hall, we’re scheduled for a singles match in the 5★STAR GP. Let’s face each other properly and settle things there.
