Saya Kamitani & Momo Watanabe Have Final Preliminary At “STARDOM IN CHIBA 2025”

On Nov. 1st, STARDOM held it’s STARDOM IN CHIBA 2025 event at the TKP Garden City Chiba with an announced crowd of 326 fans in attendance. This was the last show prior to the STARDOM CRIMSON NIGHTMARE 2025 event which will feature World of STARDOM Champion & NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Saya Kamitani defending both titles against her fellow H.A.T.E. faction member Momo Watanabe.

At STARDOM IN CHIBA 2025, Kamitani & Watanabe engaged in their final preliminary match as they were on opposite sides of an all H.A.T.E. main event.

Kamitani aligned herself with Natsuko Tora, Konami & Azusa Inaba as they faced Watanabe, Ruaka, Rina & Fukigen Death. Despite all the talent involved in the main event, this bout was all about Kamitani and Watanabe. The two engaged in plenty of hard fought action as they each attempted to assert superiority over the other ahead of their Nov. 3rd showdown.

The match ended in a twenty minute draw which didn’t sit well with the 5 Star Grand Prix 2025 winner Watanabe. During her post-match backstage interview she stated that twenty minutes wasn’t enough time but insisted that she is now fired up for her Nov. 3rd showdown with Kamitani.

From Momo Watanabe:

“A 20-minute draw, huh? That’s your fault, company. Right? You understand, don’t you? Twenty minutes isn’t nearly enough for us. Right? And this only happened because there haven’t been any preliminary matches until now. Well, I’m fired up right now, and I’m going to stay fired up until November 3rd, when I give Kamitani her first nightmare. Well, until now, I’ve always felt inferior because you kept surpassing me. I definitely did. But the me of right now holds the 5★STAR GP victory—something you haven’t achieved, and I’m overflowing with confidence. So, I’ll take that Red Belt and the STRONG Belt, and I’ll carry on your dream for you.”

Kamitani didn’t hold back during her post-match backstage interview with harsh comments directed at Watanabe.

“After finishing the final preliminary match against Momo, I recalled all the whirlwind of events since my debut match, but Saya-sama still has absolutely no intention of giving up her position as the undisputed champion, so in the double-title match, I’ll savor every single moment of the fight, and I will unleash all the emotions I have inside me onto you, Momo Watanabe. And I’ll prove who’s the best and who’s the strongest in Ota Ward!”
