Saya Iida Earns Shot At Wonder of STARDOM Title With Huge Win Over Ami Sohrei

STARDOM returned to Korakuen Hall for their NIGHTER in Korakuen show of December on December 8. The card of the show included 9 matches and continued the building of the card for STARDOM DREAM QUEENDOM 2025 that will be celebrated at Ryogoku Kokugikan on December 29.

The main event of the show was Saya Iida vs Ami Sohrei for a chance to face Konami in a Wonder of Stardom Championship match at Ryogoku. Plus a H.A.T.E vs ExV Artist Title match and the in ring return of former World of Stardom Champion Maika. Also, during the show Natsupoi and Sareee agreed to have a singles match. At the same time, Hazuki accepted being FUWA CHAN’s re-debut opponent at Ryogoku.

Maika’s return wasn’t the only draw of the match, as there was also a member of her team whose name was initially kept secret. When the time came, it was revealed to be Xena, who also made her return to the ring at Korakuen Hall, much to the delight of the fans. Xena’s last match in STARDOM prior to this one had been on October 12, 2024.

The team consisted of these members of ExV, accompanied by Saori Anou and Sayaka Kurara of Cosmic Angels. Together, they defeated Saya Kamitani, Natsuko Tora, Ruaka, and Azusa Inaba of H.A.T.E. After the match, Maika reiterated that now that she was back, it was time to end H.A.T.E.’s dominance in STARDOM.

In the semi-main event, H.A.T.E. defeated ExV to retain the Artist of Stardom Championships. An entertaining match in which the challengers came very close to dethroning the champions. Rian shone and delivered one of her best performances since her debut. It wasn’t enough this time, but she still has room to grow. Konami secured the pinfall on Rian, and H.A.T.E achieved her second successful title defense.

In the main event, Saya Iida defeated Ami Sohrei to become the next challenger for Konami’s Wonder of Stardom Championship. Both wrestlers put on a very intense match, demonstrating their power and ability to deliver heavy blows. After the 20-minute mark, Iida secured the pinfall on Sohrei with a Vertical Brainbuster.
