Sareee Weighs In On Natsupoi Announcing Her Retirement

On July 23rd, STARDOM superstar Natsupoi announced her retirement from pro-wrestling with her final bout set for Jan. 3rd 2027.

It has been no secret that Natsupoi and freelance superstar Sareee are the best of friends. Due to the closeness between the two, it makes sense that Sareee decided to issue a statement regarding Natsupoi’s upcoming retirement.

In an interview, as reported by Tokyo Sports, Sareee reiterated that Natsupoi is her best friend and stated that she will support her no matter what.

From Sareee:

“Natsupoi is my best friend. She is truly my number one friend from the bottom of my heart, and someone who understands me. We have never belonged to the same promotion and have not fought each other that much, but we were each other’s greatest mental support. Of course, I feel lonely, but this is what Natsupoi decided. I will support her no matter what. I want her to do her best with the remaining five months in her own way, crying and smiling, on the happiest retirement road in the world.”

Since 2018, Sareee and Natsupoi faced each other in two singles as well as numerous tag team bouts. They, also, competed as a team in past matches as well.

Sareee was asked if she would like to share the ring again with Natsupoi before she stepped away from pro-wrestling and her answer was a resounding yes. Despite her desire to step into the ring with Natsupoi again, Sareee admitted its up to Natsupoi.

From Sareee:

“Of course I have the desire to fight her. But I think what Natsupoi wants to do comes first. Time is limited, so I do not know what will happen. (Whether as allies or opponents) either is fine. I just hope Natsupoi can do things the way she wants.”

With a number of Sareee-ISM events scheduled for the rest of the year, it will be interesting to see if one of those events features one last Sareee vs Natsupoi match which would easily be the featured bout of the show.
