Sareee Vows To Beat The Hell Out Of Suzu Suzuki The Next Time They Meet Following Their 5★STAR GP 2025 Draw

By: Lewis Carlan

The STARDOM 5★STAR GP 2025 tournament hit Kyoto KBS Hall on August 9th with a full line-up of Blue Stars Block A & B matches.

One of the matches the sold out crowd at the Kyoto KBS Hall was highly anticipating was the Blue Stars Block B clash between the IWGP Women’s Champion Sareee and Suzu Suzuki. From the opening bell this bout featured continuous action as both competitors brought their A plus game to the squared circle on Aug. 9th. The crowd were very vocal during this encounter as they were on the edge of their seats throughout the bout.

The action was hard-hitting with numerous close falls but in the end, neither combatant was able to pull out a victory as the match ended in a 15:00 time limit draw.

During her backstage post-match interview, Sareee admitted that she was frustrated with the draw and promised to beat the hell out of Suzuki if they ever meet inside the ring again.

From Sareee:

“A draw, the most frustrating result. I’m seriously frustrated. Suzu Suzuki, I only knew her back when she was still a rookie, wearing that cute pink gear, so what’s with those elbows of hers? They’re really good. Today was a 15-minute draw. I feel like I couldn’t fully show her the real fear of Sareee yet, and I’m reflecting on that myself. So next time, if there is a next time, I’m seriously going to beat the hell out of her, so everyone, please look forward to it.”

(H/T goes to meraWRESTLING for the English quote translation)

Suzu Suzuki weighed in on the match with her own post-match backstage comments. Suzuki claimed that Sareee flipped her crazy switch and suggested they beat the crap out of each other until they are satisfied.

From Suzu Suzuki:

“Since coming to Stardom, that girl’s been all about her ideal wrestling, a style that only seeks strength, right? She’s been doing that forever but who finds that kind of thing entertaining? I thought only her fans would enjoy it, but damn, she flipped my crazy switch!  Let’s keep beating the crap out of each other until we’re satisfied, and see who’s still standing in the end!” (Via Google Translate)

It’s a safe bet to say that this is probably not the end of this Sareee and Suzuki situation as they both appear to want another crack at each other. With the IWGP Women’s Title in her possession, Sareee has the right to nominate challengers and right now Suzu Suzuki could very well be at the top of list.
