Sareee, Rina Continue Strong 5★STAR GP Runs as STARDOM Hits Utsunomiya on 8/3

On Aug, 3rd, the STARDOM 5★STAR GP 2025 headed to the Light Cube Utsunomiya for day and night events featuring more tournament action. The day event was a sell out while the night event fell a bit short of filling the venue to capacity.

In the early event, Sareee earned her fourth point of the STARDOM 5★STAR GP 2025 when she defeated Hina in a Blue Stars Block B bout. The loss left Hina struggling as she remained winless in the tournament.

While Hina is looking for her first win, her twin sister Rina has been experiencing a tremendous run in the tournament. Rina faced Tomoka Inaba in the night event and emerged victorious for the fourth straight time in the tournament, putting her in strong contention as the 5★STAR GP continues.

The afternoon show also featured significant results including Momo Watanabe defeating Suzu Suzuki 6-4 on points via Peach Sunrise in 13:12 in a Blue Stars Block B match, while Bozilla defeated Artist Of Stardom Champion Miyu Amasaki 5-2 on points via Styles Clash in 5:34 in a Blue Stars Block A bout.

The 2025 tournament features the largest field in 5★STAR GP history with 32 participants across four blocks competing in round-robin format. Participants receive 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, and 0 points for a loss, with the top 3 point earners in each block advancing to a playoff to determine the overall winner.

The tournament winner traditionally earns a shot at the World of STARDOM Championship, making each match crucial as wrestlers jockey for position in their respective blocks.
