Rossy Ogawa States That Marigold Will Reset at GRAND DESTINY 2026 and Begin A New Chapter

On Oct. 24th, Marigold will hold one of its biggest events of the year as the promotion presents GRAND DESTINY 2026 at Ryogoku Kokugikan. The main event will be a massive championship, winner take all, Triple Crown match between Marigold World Champion Miku Aono, Marigold United National Champion Victoria Yuzuki & Marigold Superfly Champion Mayu Iwatani.

A press conference was held today to promote GRAND DESTINY 2026 which is only 11 days away. All eyes were on Aono, Iwatani & Yuzuki as they each took turns commenting on their upcoming Triple Crown Match and the huge opportunity all three have when they face-off against one another on Oct. 24th.

Following the press conference, Marigold owner Rossy Ogawa took to X and released a statement to indicate that Marigold will use GRAND DESTINY 2026 as a fresh start. Ogawa declared that Marigold will be resetting everything and move forward into a new chapter for the promotion.

“Press conference for the October 24 event at Ryogoku Kokugikan. The Triple Crown Match, with three belts on the line, is the climax of the year. Chitose Yoshino, a gravure idol with 500,000 followers on X, will face Megaton in a cross-discipline fight. Marigold will use the Ryogoku event as a fresh start, resetting everything that came before and entering a new chapter. With the recent departures, Ogawa will be looking to the young talent to start taking their careers to the next level to fill the voids being left within Marigold. Rising stars including Victoria Yuzuki, Rea Seto, Seri Yamaoka, Yuuka Yamazaki, Nagisa Tachibana & Shinno all have the opportunity to make the new chapter of Marigold a very exciting one and that is what Ogawa is banking on.
