Rossy Ogawa Reveals Which Three Marigold Talents He Would Like To See Appear in Other Promotions in the Future to Bring More Awareness to Them

On Sept. 12th, Marigold held its latest DREAM★STAR GP 2026 event at the Kariya City Industrial Promotion Center.

The featured bout was a six woman tag team match-up as the Icon Peach Arrow trio of Marigold Superfly Champion Mayu Iwatani, Marigold United National Champion Victoria Yuzuki & Komomo Minami took on and defeated Natsumi Showzuki, Megaton & Diana Strong.

Following the event, Ogawa took to X and hinted that he is very high on the trio of Iwatani, Yuzuki & Miniami. Ogawa stated that he wants fans who aren’t familiar with Icon Peach Arrow to see them in action. He feels so strongly about this, that he revealed that Marigold is considering sending Iwatani, Yuzuki & Minami to other rival promotions to compete.

“The Kariya Tournament came to a close with Icon Peach Arrow’s victory. I really want fans who aren’t familiar with these three to come see them. I want to wow them with that “Rocket.” That’s why we’re also considering making appearances in other promotions.” (English translation via Deepl.com)

While this strategy may work for Yuzuki & Minami, it would be very difficult to find a Joshi pro wrestling fan who isn’t familiar with the Icon Mayu Iwatani. But regardless, it could be a good idea to show fans of other promotions the talent Marigold possesses in an effort to expand its base and grow its audience.

Marigold had been working with Marvelous in the past but it appears that collaboration has fizzled out. It will be interesting to see if Marigold talent, specifically Iwatani, Yuzuki & Minami will begin appearing in other rival promotions in the near future.
