Rossy Ogawa Offers Great Praise For Marigold Rising Star Yuuka Yamazaki

Marigold rising star Yuuka Yamazaki began her career back on June 14th 2025 when she faced MIRAI at “Marigold 1st Anniversary Series Burning Desire”. While Yamazaki fell in defeat, she quickly emerged as one of the top future stars within Marigold.

Yamazaki spent 2026 rapidly improving her in-ring skills and took her career to the next level. She made a statement when she participated in her first DREAM STAR GP tournament. Yamazaki finished the tournament with six points which was good enough for a Block A second place finish. She advanced to the quarterfinals where she was defeated by Victoria Yuzuki in a terrific match.

It was in the DREAM STAR GP 2026 that Yamazaki scored arguably the biggest win of her young career when she defeated the current Marigold World Champion Miku Aono in a group stage bout. The match was named the best tournament bout of Block A.

One very important individual who recognizes Yamazaki’s immense potential is Marigold owner Rossy Ogawa. In a recent interview with Kakutolog.info, Ogawa was discussing the abundance of young stars within Marigold and offered great praise for Yamazaki.

Ogawa said Yamazaki has great pro wrestling instincts and has had a clear understanding for it since the beginning of her career.

She’s been doing it with a clear understanding from the very beginning—not just winging it. She really gets the mechanics of pro wrestling. That’s a rare type for a woman.
