Riko Kawahata & Maria Retain Marigold Twin Star Titles Plus Full Burning Desire 2025 Event Results For 6/17

The Marigold Burning Desire 2025 Tour landed at Korakuen Hall on June 17th with a big event that drew nearly 1,000 fans.

The Marigold Twin Star Titles were on the line as the champions representing Marvelous, Riko Kawahata & Maria aka Magenta, defended the belts against the Marigold United National Champion Mai Sakurai and her partner Chanyota.

Sakurai and Chanyota attempted to win the titles and bring them back to Marigold but Kawahata & Maria had other plans.

After nearly fifteen minutes of action, the Marvelous team emerged victorious after Kawahata put Sakurai away with a moonsault press.

The was the first defense for the Marvelous tandem since winning the belts on May 10th.

Sakurai, who defeated in the match by Kawahata, nominated her to be the next challenger for her Marigold United National Championship. That match has yet to be make official.

• Hummingbird & Ryoko Sakimura defeat Natsumi Showzuki & Nagisa Tachibana (7:33) after a modified backslide of Hummingbird against Tachibana.
• Victoria Yuzuki & Kizuna Tanaka defeated Rea Seto & Komomo Minami (11:05) after the Re: Dream of Tanaka against Minami
• Matsui & CHIAKI defeat Kouki Amarei & Megaton (7:54) after a Diving Footstomp from Matsui to Megaton.
• Chika Goto & Yuuki Minami defeated MIRAI & Yuuka Yamazaki (12:35) after a chokeslam from Goto against Yamazaki.
• Miku Aono defeated Erina Yamanaka (10:13) with a Styles Clash.
• Marigold Twin Star Title: Riko Kawahata & Maria(c) defeated Mai Sakurai & Chanyota (14:53) after a Moonsault Press from Kawahata against Sakurai (1st defense).
• Marigold vs. Marvelous Group Competition: Utami Hayashishita, Mayu Iwatani & Seri Yamaoka defeated Takumi Iroha, Sora Ayame& Senka Akatsukil (18:21) after a torture Rack Bomb by Hayashishita against Akatsuki.
