Ren Narita: “I’m the legitimate champion of New Japan Pro Wrestling”

Jon Moxley is the current IWGP World Champion, and he’s facing the wrath of the Reiwa Era Musketeers in Yota Tsuji, Ren Narita, and even his old protege Shota Umino. Moxley wrestled against House of Torture in Wrestling Dontaku, but H.O.T. used their tricks and made an example out of the IWGP Champion, who ended up lying down on the mat.

Narita is the most recent member of EVIL’s House of Torture but he’s aiming for the top already, in the midst of what’s turning out to be a new page in the Musketeers’ book where they need to be at the top of their game if they want to run New Japan Pro Wrestling. What’s already a conflict between Moxley and the NJPW faithful, who are not happy about an “outsider” winning the belt has turned into something more characteristic of the times in NJPW, with Narita and his partners beating up the IWGP Champion and proclaiming dominance.

After opening up the show with such a beatdown, Narita grabbed the microphone and in classic H.O.T. fashion he declared his prominence in NJPW over Moxley’s:

“Tomorrow is the day. Give me that belt. It’s mine now. I’m the legitimate champion of New Japan Pro-Wrestling.”

Moxley’s crusade against the Reiwa Era Musketeers continues and Narita wants to be the first one to win the IWGP World Title and enter a new era in New Japan under House of Torture’s mantra.
