The TJPW Next Generation Tournament continued as the promotion’s fall tour landed in Kasukabe. There, Ren Konatsu became the first one to secure her place in the tournament finals set for All Rise on November 8th.
In Kasukabe, Konatsu faced off against Shion Kanzaki. The TJPW Next Generation Tournament is a double elimination contest, meaning that a competitor needs to suffer two losses in order to be eliminated. Both Konatsu and Kanzaki had won their first bout in the tournament. With a field of four, a second win for either of them would move them into the finals.
Kanzaki showed a lot of fight, hoping to lock down her spot at TJPW All Rise. Konatsu withstood her might, and caught Kanzaki in a shoulder-biting submission. Kanzaki was forced to tap out, giving Konatsu that vital second win.
Speaking backstage, Konatsu was thrilled to book her place in the final round:
At the NexGen Tournament ’26, I managed to win again today and secure my spot in the finals a step ahead of everyone else! This is my third singles match against Shion, but it’s been about half a year since we last faced each other. Watching her grow right beside me has made me incredibly excited to compete against her today. When we actually faced off, I could really feel how badly Shion wanted to win, and that made me so happy that I ended up giving it back to her tenfold. In the final, I’ll face either Shion or Momo—whichever one wins. Since it’ll be my second singles match against either of them, I won’t be taking it easy or letting my guard down. But I’ll fight my own style in the final too. With the overall victory within reach, I’m determined to clinch it.

Earlier in the event, Momo Sato scored a win over Chieri Sakimori elsewhere in the tournament. With Sakimori on two losses, she is eliminated from the tournament. Now, Sato and Kanzaki will face off on November 1st, with the winner moving onto the finals at TJPW All Rise.
Meanwhile, others built some important momentum heading into TJPW All Rise. Ahead of challenging for the tag belts, Pom Harajuku and Raku got a win over Prism Greed in trios action, with Harajuku getting a pin on Haru Kazashiro. Similarly, the main event was another trios match that saw upcoming challenger pin the champion in their sights as Uta Takami scored the win on International Princess Champion, Suzume.
TJPW All Rise takes place on November 8th at Korakuen Hall.
