Welcome to Puroresu Gate, a weekly feature where we review attendance figures of Puroresu and Joshi promotions in the most well-known venues in Japan.
This week, we are looking at the 3,000-seat Yokohama Budokan Arena in Yokohama Japan. This brand-new arena’s construction was finished during the pandemic and has already become popular with Puroresu and Joshi’s big-name players.
Stardom kicked off their most prestigious tournament with a bang this year at Yokohama Budokan. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly Utami Hayashishita and Nanae Takahashi wrestling to a time-limit draw.
