Welcome to Puroresu Gate, a weekly feature where we review attendance figures of Puroresu and Joshi promotions in the most well-known venues in Japan.
This week, we are looking at the 3,000-seat Yokohama Budokan Arena in Yokohama Japan. This brand-new arena’s construction was finished during the pandemic and has already become popular with Puroresu and Joshi’s big-name players.
The stars of Pro Wrestling Noah once again made themselves the talk of the Japanese pro wrestling world with this event. The highlight of the show was the fantastic main event between former All Japan Pro Wrestling star Jake Lee and Kaito Kiyomiya for the GHC Heavyweight Championship.
