Pro Wrestling NOAH is enjoying a great moment, attracting strong attendance at its live events. It’s also one of the most-watched product available on the Wrestle UNIVERSE platform. “The Ark” is embarking on a new journey after celebrating its 25th anniversary with two sold-out shows at Korakuen Hall on July 19 and 20. The second day’s closing performance saw KENTA, NOAH’s iconic wrestler, win the GHC Heavyweight Championship after more than 10 years. The moment generated a frenzy among fans at the venue and around the world. However, that wouldn’t be the end of the show, as his former partner and greatest rival, “The Genius of the Ark,” Naomichi Marufuji, appeared to challenge KENTA to a championship match. KENTA didn’t hesitate and accepted the challenge.

NOAH confirmed that Star Navigation Premium 2025 on August 16, the next show at Korakuen Hall, would be the chosen event for the match between KENTA and Naomichi Marufuji for the GHC Heavyweight Championship. Tickets went on sale on July 21, and by the morning of July 23, in approximately 48 hours, all seats in Korakuen Hall were sold out, as confirmed by NOAH President Narihiro Takeda. Furthermore, the NOAH President confirmed that a few standing-room only tickets would be made available to fill the extended sales capacity available at Korakuen Hall. This is the eighth consecutive time since the beginning of the year that NOAH has sold out all seats in the iconic Tokyo venue.

The other match confirmed for the card to date is Owadasan’s farewell. This will be a singles match between Owadasan and OZAWA, members of TEAM 2000X, as Owadasan will be leaving Japan for his tour. His faction partner accepted his feelings, and they will teach each other professional wrestling at Korakuen Hall as a way of saying goodbye.
You can watch this event and other previous NOAH events on the Wrestle UNIVERSE platform.
OZAWA stormed in on 7/20 to protest the “worst ref call ever” that cost him the GHC title. After helping OWADASAN defeat Kiyomiya, OWADASAN declared, “I’m too strong for Japan.” A farewell match against OZAWA is set for 8/16 at Korakuen.#NOAH25th #noah_ghc pic.twitter.com/Js3ZqTE1Ty
