Parker Boudreaux States That Teaming With Katsuhiko Nakajima Was One of the Greatest Honours of His Career

By: Lewis Carlan

Parker Boudreaux began his sixth tour for GLEAT back on May 30th as he continues to shine within the promotion. After stints in the WWE and AEW, Boudreaux has found his home in Japan as a monster competitor for GLEAT.

GLEAT appears to be very high on Boudreaux as they have named pro-wrestling veteran Kotaro Suzuki as his mentor.

On June 7th, Boudreaux participated in a six man bout teaming with Tetsuya Izuchi & 22 year pro-wrestling superstar Katsuhiko Nakajima. The trio faced Ryuichi Kawakami, Takanori Ito & Minoru Tanaka in the opening bout of the T-HAWK HOMECOMING event.

Despite being on the losing end of the bout as Ito pinned Izuchi, Boudreaux felt a sense of pride as he had the distinction of competing on the same team as the near legendary Nakajima.

Monthly Puroresu spoke with Boudreaux on teaming with Nakajima and he stated that it was one of the greatest honors of his career in Japan. Boudreaux stated that the chemistry between him and Nakajima was electric.

From Parker Boudreaux:

“Teaming with Katsuhiko Nakajima in Japan was one of the greatest honors of my career in Japan. As I have worked with , gone against , or been mentored by many legends. Standing across from him as a partner in the ring, we created unforgettable moments that fans still talk about today — blending my hard-hitting American style with his explosive, precision-based Japanese striking game. The chemistry was electric, and together we proved that wrestlers from different continents could build something truly special under the bright lights of Japanese arenas.”

Before teaming with Nakajima, Boudreaux stood across the ring from him as an opponent in past tag team bouts. Boudreaux offered insight on what it was like competing against Nakajima.

From Parker Boudreaux:

But going head-to-head against him? That was an entirely different battlefield. Nakajima is one of the most dangerous and gifted competitors I’ve ever faced — a world-class striker whose speed, power, and ring intelligence pushed me to my absolute physical and mental limits. Those brutal wars in Japan taught me invaluable lessons about timing, resilience, and what it takes to survive at the highest level of Puroresu. Every match against him made me a sharper, tougher wrestler, and I carry those experiences with me every time I step between the ropes.

Boudreaux told Monthly Puroresu in a past interview that he hopes to sign with GLEAT to become an official member of their roster.
