OZAWA And KENOH Exchange Insults Ahead Of Their July 19th GHC Heavyweight Championship Bout

In a mere six days GHC Heavyweight Champion OZAWA will be making his seventh defense of Pro Wrestling NOAH’s top title as he faces three time champion and NOAH megastar KENOH. The match is expected to be a battle and the two have been engaged in a war of words.

On July 13th, OZAWA and KENOH met each other in another preliminary match as they both gear up for the championship bout.  At G Messe Gunma Main Hall in Gunma, OZAWA teamed with his TEAM 2000X faction members Owadasan, Tadasuke & Daga as they faced KENOH, KENTA, Ulka Sasaki & Junta Miyawaki. KENOH’s team was victorious when the NOAH mainstay hit his KENOH Special on Tadasuke for the win.

OZAWA and KENOH continued to fight after the bout had ended with KENOH daring OZAWA to slap him.

During the backstage interviews, both OZAWA and KENOH made insulting comments that were aimed at each other. KENOH called OZAWA a “clout-chasing punk” while OZAWA stated that his challengers “true pig nature is out now”.

From KENOH:

“What’s wrong, OZAWA? That’s not the usual you. Is exposing people online that fun? On 7/19 at Korakuen—NOAH’s 25th anniversary year—I’m taking the belt and lifting this company, not some clout-chasing punk like you. One word from your senpai: Don’t make Yoshimi cry.”

From OZAWA:

“KENOH, your true pig nature’s out now. That ‘slap me!’ cry? That wasn’t defiance—it was begging. But a real masochist doesn’t get his reward that easy. On 7/19 at Korakuen, I’m gonna destroy you. And then… I’ll give you the reward you crave.”

KENOH is expected to give OZAWA his toughest challenge to date when the two meet on July 19th. While KENOH is confident he will secure his fourth GHC Heavyweight Title reign, OZAWA appears to be unbeatable. OZAWA is just as confident that he will deny KENOH of another reign as the top champion of Pro Wrestling NOAH. We will find out in a few days who the better man is.
