Having a background in other sports can be a game-changer. Whether it’s football, volleyball or judo or kickboxing.
Tomoka Inaba started practising karate at age 3 before getting into professional wrestling, and it’s safe to say that her background in martial arts has helped her in the ring.
A lethal weapon within the squared circle, she is a former Sendai Girls Junior champion as well as being the current Queen of JTO; Inaba is the only two-time Queen of JTO in the championship’s short history.

Although her main company is JUST TAP OUT (JTO), it hasn’t stopped her from appearing in a wide variety of different joshi organisations such as GLEAT, Sendai Girls and Pro-Wrestling WAVE.
On August 26th 2022, Inaba would become part of the STARDOM unit God’s Eye led by Syuri, joining up with the group’s leader to participate in the 2022 Goddess of Stardom Tag League under the name “Karate Brave”.

Inaba’s current tenure in STARDOM has also seen her compete at the NEW BLOOD shows, where she represents JUST TAP OUT and wrestled to a time-limit draw in a title match against Future of Stardom champion Hanan.
Having only wrestled for three years by debuting in July 2019, Tomoka Inaba is already one of the most promising young talents in the joshi puroresu scene at age 20 – that’s why she’s this week’s one to watch.
