One of the newest graduates from the New Japan Pro Wrestling LA Dojo is Kevin Knight, and his journey has proven his skills.
After working on the independent scene, in early 2020, Kevin Knight first earned a spot in the LA Dojo and quickly made an impact, making his official debut in December of that year, teaming with Ren Narita against KENTA and Hiku Leo. As expected, his first few months wrestling on New Japan Strong saw him pick up loss after loss, which is common for Young Lions.

Yet, during this time, Knight had the opportunity to wrestle some of the best in the company. Each time, Knight continued to impress with his athleticism and agility. For nearly a year, Knight continued to work as part of the dojo in America and gained much-needed experience.

It wasn’t until November 20 when Knight made his Japanese debut at the Historic X-Over show with NJPW and STARDOM in the pre-show. Although it was just the opening match, Knight and the rest of the LA Dojo graduates picked up the win.
In particular, Kevin Knight has truly had the chance to shine after entering the Super Jr. Tag tournament with KUSHIDA.
Throughout the matches, he constantly showed talent and passion, to the point where he officially graduated midway through the tournament. Starting in the black trunks, Knight suddenly started wrestling in orange ring gear and was picking up wins, even pinning Tiger Mask.
Tonight, Kushida-san took me back in time and reminded me who I was and
I feel rejuvenated to say the least😎

With the Super Jr. tournament over, it is now Kevin Knight’s time to shine away from the constraints of the dojo. Whether he stays in America or becomes a regular in Japan, Kevin Knight will shine in the junior division and is a future champion in the making.
