Ones To Watch, 11.14.22 – Juria Nagano

Juria Nagano

By: Rui Guimarães

Having one profession is already hard enough, but there is a wrestler who does even more than two – TJPW’s Juria Nagano.

Juria Nagano debuted for Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling at Grand Princess ’22 at the iconic Ryogoku Sumo Hall venue and since then has become a very promising rookie.

She has a background in Karate as a 2nd Dan Former World Champion back in 2006, as well as being a practising brain nurse and has one million followers on TikTok. Not only that, she is also an actress, having acted previously in Super Sentai (which is mostly known as the source material for Power Rangers).

Inside of the ring, Juria puts her black-belt karate to good use – nailing opponents with flying kicks and crazy striking combinations that have never been seen before in the world of TJPW.

Since her debut, she has wrestled against and with some of the most popular names in TJPW. Her first singles match was against Miyu Yamashita before teaming with her and Maki Itoh later in the year at CyberFight Festival. Her most frequent partner is Moka Miyamoto, who have teamed four times in all of Juria’s ten matches so far.

She may be new to the wrestling ring, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t doubt her either; and with her rising popularity on social media, it’s fair to say that Juria Nagano is here to stay.
