Numerous STARDOM Superstars Pay Tribute To The Now Retired Tam Nakano

STARDOM held it’s biggest event of the year, ALL STAR GRAND QUEENDOM 2025 on April 27th with a crowd of 7503 fans in attendance at the Yokohama Arena.

The event did not end well for superstar Tam Nakano as she was defeated by World of STARDOM Champion Saya Kamitani in a career vs career match. While the bout was one for the ages, Nakano was forced to say good bye to the world of Joshi pro-wrestling forever with her loss to Kamitani. The two had a heartfelt verbal exchange following the match and left the ring together arm in arm.

Kamitani and well as other superstars took to X to pay tribute to the now retired Tam Nakano.

From Saya Kamitani:

“I wished this long road would never end. Tam Nakano, goodbye forever.”

From Tae Honma:

“The brightest star.”

From Mina Shirakawa:

“I’ll never forget the days I spent with Tam. Never, ever.”

From Natsupoi:

“What is bye?”

From Waka Tsukiyama:

“I love you, Tam-san.”

While the above comments were quick tributes, Lady C offered a much longer, heartfelt tribute to Nakano.

From Lady C:

“I wanted to end the day on a happy note, but Tam Nakano I can’t believe this is really the end. It’s because of Tam Nakano that I discovered women’s wrestling. It’s because of Tam Nakano that I attended STARDOM’s workshops. It’s because of Tam Nakano that I became a pro wrestler. I wanted to chase after you more and more. I wanted you to share your resolve with me someday, but it’s a much bigger resolve than I can handle. The existence of Tam Nakano is something that I would never be able to carry even if it took me the rest of my life. It’s hard to believe that Tam Nakano, who had left an impression on so many people’s hearts, will now be gone. Those of us who are left have no choice but to continue to protect STARDOM desperately. The STARDOM that Tam Nakano loved. I am also one of those people whose life was changed by meeting Tam-san. I will never forget it.”
