Korakuen Hall was rocking on July 24th as STARDOM presented it’s STARDOM NIGHTER 2025 IN KORAKUEN Jul. event as over 1100 fans filled the famed venue.
One of the featured matches was a bout reminiscent to the battle between Davey and Goliath as the current NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion AZM faced the challenge of the much larger and stronger Bozilla.
While Bozilla dominated much of the beginning of the match, AZM proved why she is the NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion and showed the world that its not the size of the person in the fight but the size of the fight in the person. With the Korakuen crowd solidly behind her, AZM fought valiantly, refusing to give up in an extraordinary show of determination.
The incredible bout ended when AZM locked on the Numero Uno Clutch and scored a pinfall win over Bozilla. Not taking the loss well, Bozilla attacked AZM following the match.
Following her huge victory, AZM spoke with Tokyo Sports and declared her desire to elevate the value of the NJPW STRONG Women’s Title over the World of STARDOM, Wonder of STARDOM & IWGP Women’s championships.
From AZM:
“As it says on the belt, ‘STRONG,’ I think this is the strongest belt. So, with my own kind of strength, I want to make the value of this belt number one, even over the Red, White, or IWGP.”
AZM stressed the importance of her victory over Bozilla who she claims has the strength of three people:
“I didn’t beat Moné directly, and I really hated the idea of people thinking I just happened to hold the belt. But winning today, I think the value of this belt has gone up. Bozilla has the power of about three people, so today’s victory is effectively V3.”
AZM’s victory over Bozilla on July 24th was nothing short of spectacular. She proved that she is deserving of the NJPW STRONG Women’s Title. AZM has earned the right to celebrate and will now look forward to her second title defense.
