Natuspoi & Saori Anou Comment After Their Successful NATSU & SAORY 10TH ANNIVERSARY Event

On May 31st, STARDOM superstars Natsupoi and Saori Anou celebrated their 10th anniversary as pro-wrestlers with a jointly produced event.

The NATSU & SAORY 10TH ANNIVERSARY show was held at the Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo. The event was sold out as a crowd of 2,837 filled the venue to its capacity to commemorate Natsupoi and Saori Anou’s 10 years in the world of Joshi Puroresu.

The show was filled with marquee match ups that featured competitors from multiple promotions. The huge main event saw Natsupoi team with Saori Anou as they faced Sendai Girls superstars Chihiro Hashimoto & Mika Iwata. Natuspoi and Anou were victorious over their Sendai Girls rivals and then had an impromptu singles match against each other that ended in a five minute draw.

Following the draw, Anou suggested that the next time she and Natsupoi meet for a singles match, it should be at the Tokyo Dome.

At the conclusion of the event, both Anou and Natsupoi gave post-match backstage comments:

From Saori Anou:

“We packed in everything we wanted to do. We built it from scratch, and we had a lot of discussions about it. But we really thought of it so that everyone would enjoy it. I hope you enjoyed it.”

From Natsupoi:

“I never thought I’d do this for 10 years. But since Saori is continuing, I can’t quit either… In my 11th year, I’ll be right in the middle of this stardom!”

• 11 Woman Thank You Rumble: Shin Saori Anou (Black)  (#11) defeats Kakeru Sekiguchi (#4) with a special pottering (23:49). Natsupoi and Saori Anou have both experienced very successful careers over their first ten years as pro-wrestlers. The sold out crowd at the Ota City General Gymnasium was a testament to their stellar contributions to Joshi Puroresu. We look forward to the next ten years of Natsupoi and Saori Anou and then the next ten years after that.
