Natsupoi Reveals Her Enjoyment For Pro-Wrestling Has Faded Following Her 10th Anniversary Event Back In May 2025

On May 31st 2025, Natsupoi and Saori Anou celebrated their 10 year anniversary as professional wrestlers with a big event at the Ota City General Gymnasium with 2,387 fans in attendance. Together they defeated Chihiro Hashimoto & Mika Iwata in a thrilling bout.

Over the the next few months following the 10 year anniversary event, Natsupoi had opportunities at the Goddesses of STARDOM Title and the World of STARDOM championship plus reached the 5 STAR Grand Prix 2025 semi finals. She had without a doubt become one of the top stars within STARDOM an her career appeared to be thriving.

Natsupoi revealed while speaking with Tokyo Sports that not everything always appears to be what it seems. She made the admission that her enjoyment for pro-wrestling had slightly faded after her 10th anniversary event and that fire has stopped burning inside her. Natsupoi said the six months after the 10 year anniversary show felt like it lasted longer than the previous five years as a pro-wrestler. She also stated that her faded enjoyment was noticed by Sareee.

“From the time I joined STARDOM until my 10th-anniversary show, I kept running without a break. After the 10th anniversary, I challenged for the World title, thinking I had to carry the feelings of the retired Tam-chan and that I couldn’t abandon my own goals. But later, people around me told me, ‘Natsupoi back then looked like she was suffering.’ The six months after the 10th-anniversary show felt longer than the previous five years. That’s because, somewhere inside me, the fire wasn’t burning, and my enjoyment of pro-wrestling had slightly faded. Sareee noticed that.”

If the fire for pro-wrestling is not burning inside Natsupoi, maybe she needs to step away from competition for a month or two to rest and sort things out. Maybe Sareee can help her re-ignite her full passion for pro-wrestling. Maybe her close friend Saori Anou can help her through this.

Whatever the case may be, Natsupoi will figure it out and continue to be a top Joshi star for many years to come.
