Miyahara And Anzai Finish Their Year Strong at AJPW New Year’s Eve 2025 In Yoyogi

All Japan Pro Wrestling presented AJPW New Year’s Eve 2025 at Yoyogi 2nd Gymnasium on December 31th. Their traditional last show of the year had a card of 7 matches. The main event was a Triple Crown Championship match between Kento Miyahara (c) and Yuma Anzai.

The opener of the show was a fun 8 men tag team match in which KURAMA bested Atsuki Aoyagi in the preview to their title match on January 3rd at Korakuen Hall. In the second match, Dump Matsumoto won the special Battle Royal after eliminating Kuroshi TOKYO Japan. During the match, Dump had an interaction with Aja Kong, which was one of the most celebrated moments by fans in attendance in Yoyogi.

In the third match, Hideki Suzuki and Yuki Miyamoto defeated Ryuki Honda and Shota Kofuji. Suzuki dominated Kofuji with his technical background to secure the victory for his team. In the forth match, HAVOC stood tall over Hokuto-gun and the team of Titans of Calamity and Daisuke Sekimoto.

In the fifth match, Jun Saito defeated Go Shiozaki after a hard hitting bout. It was a very even match but the former Triple Crown Champion secured the victory close the 20 minutes mark. In the semi main event, Gajadokuro defeated MUSASHI and Seiki Yoshioka to win the All Asia Tag Team Championship. Very fun and dynamic match in which the team from Dragon Gate upsetted the veterans from All Japan.

In the main event, Kento Miyahara defeated Yuma Anzai to retain his Triple Crown Championship. Match of the night as Miyahara and Anzai delivere together an oustanding performance that had the fans in the edge of their seats for over 20 minutes. Pure intensity ever changing as Anzai ended very close of dethroning Miyahara. After the match, Miyahara did a promo accepting that Anzai is a star now, but Miyahara is a superstar so they are not in the same level.
