Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling announced today that Arisu Endo will defend her International Princess Championship against Michinoku Pro Wrestling star MIRAI on Jan. 4th at Korakuen Hall.
Endo will be making her third title defense after winning the championship back on Sept. 20 when she defeated Priscilla Kelly for the vacant belt at TJPW Wrestle Princess VI.
This will be MIRAI’s first appearance for TJPW since Sept. 4th 2021 when she went by the name Mirai Maiumi.
TJPW held a press conference for the Jan. 4th event today as Endo and MIRAI came face to face to discuss their upcoming title bout.

MIRAI stated that she was shocked when the match was announced. She said she will seize the opportunity and win the TJPW International Princess Championship.
From MIRAI:
“I was absolutely shocked when this match was announced. Today is December 3rd, my birthday, and I’ve turned 26. (applause) Thank you! But honestly, I was so incredibly happy about this card, it almost felt like they prepared a birthday present for me! I’m thrilled to be challenging for this belt, and I’m also very happy to be fighting Arisu, who is from the same Tohoku region, as a member of Michinoku Pro-Wrestling. When I was part of Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling, I was genuinely young and immature, only 20 years old. But from there, I took flight, broke out, gained experience in many different places, and now, at 26, I have thankfully been given the chance to step into this ring again. I believe the current me has a certain excitement that only I can deliver, and I intend to provide that fully and show everyone the ‘now’ of MIRAI. I am absolutely determined to seize this opportunity this time and wear this belt. Thank you.”

Endo was asked she will have any special preparation for her title defense against MIRAI.
From Arisu Endo:
“I don’t! I just want to be myself, throw everything I’ve got right now, and protect this belt!”
This bout is expected to be Arisu Endo’s toughest title defense to date when she faces MIRAI on Jan. 4th at Korakuen Hall.
