MIRAI Retains the GHC Women’s Title Against Nagisa Nozaki in Her First Defense

On Sept. 22, Michinoku Pro-Wrestling held its latest event at a sold out Miyako City General Gymnasium which was titled “MIRAI TRIUMPHANT LOCAL RETURN.”

The featured bout saw hometown hero MIRAI making her first defense of the GHC Women’s Championship against Nagisa Nozaki.

It was a tough first defense for MIRAI but she was able to prevail when she pinned Nozaki with her Tirori maneuver at the 17:29 mark.

The two exchanged pleasantries and shook hands following the bout.

MIRAI won the title over three months ago when she defeated Great Sakuya at Pro Wrestling NOAH Wrestle Magic 2026 for the then vacant championship.

After her victory, MIRAI took to X and posted these comments:

• Sangre Azteca Jr. defeats Taro Nohashi (9:10) with the La Llave del Futuro.
• Race, ken45° & Nanbu King defeats Marukan Softman, Ringo Yamaya & Tsunagu Sato (9:10) after King’s Nanbu Impact against Sato.
• GHC Women’s Title, Decision Match: MIRAI (c) beats Nagisa Nozaki (17:29) with the Tirori (1st defense).
