Having jumped from Stardom to Marigold, and then becoming freelance, many fans have been wondering where MIRAI might take her career next. A match with Tomoko Inaba had already been set for later this month, but MIRAI made a shock appearance at Michinoku Pro Wrestling, which has been confirmed as her new home.
Michinoku Pro hosted their Grande Uno show in the Iwate Prefectural Gymnasium, with Mayu Iwatani scheduled to face a mystery opponent. Once the moment of truth arrived, MIRAI surprised fans as she stepped through the curtain. The two went toe-to-toe, with Iwatani coming away as the victor. Following the match, the two were joined by Michinoku Pro president Jinsei Shinzaki, and Rossy Ogawa. Together, they confirmed MIRAI as an official member of the Michinoku Pro roster.
