One major title that was on the line was the JTO Women’s Championship as MIRAI challenged the champion Azusa Inaba for the belt. Inaba was in the her 387th day as the champion and was making her seventh defense of the title she won back on Dec. 6th 2024.

Inaba’s long and dominant reign came to a crashing halt on Dec. 28th as MIRAI dethroned Inaba to become the new champion. It took MIRAI over seventeen minutes to emerge victorious as she upended Inaba with a Lariat to take possession of the championship.

With her victory, MIRAI has become the sixth JTO Women’s Champion since the inception of the title back on Nov. 11 2023. Past JTO women champions include Unagi Sayaki and Aoi.
