Miku Aono Retains The Marigold World Title At SHINING ATTACK 2026, New Challenger Emerges

On June 20th, the stars of Marigold invaded the famed Korakuen Hall once again as the promotion presented SHINING ATTACK 2026. An announced crowd of 825 fans were in attendance for the event.

The featured bout for Marigold SHINING ATTACK 2026 saw Miku Aono making her fifth defense of the Marigold World Championship against Nightshade. Nightshade earned a shot at the title after she pinned Aono in a tag team bout back on June 9th.

The dangerous Nightshade tried to ride her wave of momentum to a world championship victory but that very momentum was stopped in its tracks by Miku Aono but it wasn’t easy.

Nightshade took Aono to the limit using her size advantage throughout the bout. Towards the end of the match, Nightshade hit a sit down powerbomb on Aono which seemingly was the end for the champion. Aono, acting on pure instinct, rolled up Nightshade after the powerbomb and secured a three count to retain her title.

After Aono’s  victory, Nagisa Tachibana appeared and declared herself the next challenger for the Marigold World Championship.

• Marigold World Title: Miku Aono (c) defeated Nightshade (13:39) with a neck-hanging bomb cutback (5th defense).
