Megaton’s Losing Ways Continue As MARIGOLD NEW YEAR GOLDEN GARDEN 2026 Tour Rolls On

The MARIGOLD NEW YEAR GOLDEN GARDEN 2026 tour continued on Feb. 8th as the promotion held an event at the Kasukabe Furei Cube Hall in Kaukabe, Saitama. The announced paid attendance for the event was 316 fans.

Megaton, who has been desperately looking to get her hand raised in victory for the past seven months, continued her losing ways. She was competing in the main event as she teamed with Marigold World Champion Miku Aono & Chika Goto as they faced Nagisa Nozaki, Misa Matsui & Dream Girl Ellie.

The bout lasted a little over seventeen minutes as Misa Matsui pinned Megaton following a diving double footstomp to win the match for her team. The last time Megaton was on the winning end of a match was back on June 23rd 2025.

Aono & Goto appeared to console a hurting Megaton during the post-match backstage interview. The fans have been rallying around Megaton as she is attempting to earn her first victory in a very long time.

The Marigold World Champion Miku Aono was confronted by Darkness Revolution’s CHIAKI at the event. CHIAKI has been challenging Aono for the past few weeks for a championship opportunity.

It appears Aono has finally accepted the challenge from CHIAKI as per her post on X. Aono stated that she will “settle things once and for all with that noisy CHIAKI in a singles match and shut her up.”

In other action, Mai Sakurai, Natsumi Showzuki & Kouki Amarei defeated Mayu Iwatani, Utami Hayashishita & Hummingbird in a six woman tag team bout.
