Mayu Iwatani Celebrates Grand Opening Of Marigold Dojo

Marigold took a major step forward on July 22nd when they had the grand opening of their new official Dojo.

Having a dedicated Dojo within their ranks is vitally important as Marigold now can train the future faces of the promotion without having to rely on using a Dojo that belongs to another company.

One superstar that expressed excitement for the new Dojo was the current Marigold Super Flyweight Champion and Icon Mayu Iwatani. Iwatani recently joined Marigold after departing the rival STARDOM promotion.

Iwatani called the Dojo beautiful and praised the Chanko which was prepared in celebration by Utami Hayashishita, Chika Goto & Komomo Minami.

When Iwatani began with Marigold back in May 2025, one of the things she wanted to bring to the promotion was her experience to help train the younger stars to improve their in-ring skills.

You can bet that the new Marigold Dojo will get plenty of visits from Iwatani as she passes down her expertise to the newer faces of Marigold.
