Mayu Iwatani Calls Her Upcoming Match With Megaton “Scary”

The Marigold Burning Desire Tour 2025 heads to 176Box in Osaka on June 14th with a full card of action.

One of the marquee matches will see the current Marigold Super Flyweight Champion Mayu Iwatani team with Victoria Yuzuki as they face the Darkness Revolution tandem of Nagisa Nozaki and Megaton.

This match could have serious consequences for Megaton because if she loses in this match, she will be banished from Darkness Revolution.

Iwatani took to X and indicated that this is her first time in the ring with Megaton. She referred to the match as “scary” which can be attributed to the unpredictability of Megaton.

From Mayu Iwatani:

“Tomorrow is the Osaka tournament!
The day after tomorrow is the Shizuoka tournament! Osaka will be my first encounter with Megaton! It’s scary in many ways!!I’m looking forward to meeting everyone😌✨ I’ll be waiting for you.”

Megaton, who doesn’t want to be kicked out of Darkness Revolution is expected to pull out all the stops to prevent herself from losing. Iwatani may have every right to consider this match with Megaton to be “scary” for that reason alone.
