After missing four months due to injury Marigold superstar and current United National Champion Victoria Yuzuki bounced back in a major way by winning the DREAM STAR Grand Prix 2026 tournament. Yuzuki defeated Rea Seto in an incredible DREAM STAR Grand Prix 2026 final on Sept. 20th to win the tournament for the first time in her career.

Yuzuki, 21, is set to headline the upcoming Marigold GRAND DESTINY 2026 event at Ryogoku Kokugikan as she will put her United National Title on the line against Marigold Superfly Champion Mayu Iwatani and Marigold World Champion Miku Aono in a winner take all Triple Crown championship bout.

Ahead of her massive opportunity to be a Marigold Triple Champion, Yuzuki sat down for an interview with Number Web. Yuzuki spoke about her personality which she says has remained the same despite growing a bit older in 2026. She said that it doesn’t matter what her age is, she will always feel like she is 18 years old.

From Victoria Yuzuki:

“To me, being 20 or 21 hasn’t changed a thing. I don’t think I’ll change much no matter how old I get. Even if my appearance changes a little, I’m still sassy, and my inner self hasn’t changed. No matter how old I get, I’ll always feel 18. I’m forever 18. I feel like a student. It’s the most fun time of my life. I want to grow up, but at the same time, I don’t want to. At what point do you start to feel like time is passing quickly?”

Yuzuki admitted that she expected to defend her United National Title at Marigold GRAND DESTINY 2026 but views the triple crown bout as an opportunity because she planned on pursuing the Red Belt anyway. She indicated that she hopes lots of people will watch the main event at Ryogoku Kokugikan on Oct. 24th.

From Victoria Yuzuki:

“I want lots of people to watch the main event at Ryogoku. I want Marigold to gain more exposure! Personally, I see this as an opportunity. I do get the impression it might be a little early, but since I was inevitably planning to go after the Red Title after the United National Title, and since the Super Flyweight Title was taken from me by Mayu, I want to take it back from her. I, Victoria Yuzuki, will be the one to become a three-time champion in Marigold.”
