The Marigold United National Champion Victoria Yuzuki will be out of action for the foreseeable future due to an injury she suffered on April 19th in Nagoya.
Yuzuki was participating in a six woman tag team bout when the injury occurred. After being diagnosed by a doctor, it was determined that Yuzuki suffered an injury to her ACL.
A disappointed Yuzuki released a statement via the Marigold X account and apologized to the fans.
From Victoria Yuzuki:
“To everyone that always support me, I’m truly sorry for having to sit out at this time. I’ll fully recover and return to this Marigold ring that I love so much, showing an even more leveled-up version of myself. At that time, I’ll bring the full force of Victoria Yuzuki to liven things up again. Please wait for me until then.”
The injury bug has hit Marigold hard lately as, in addition to Yuzuki, they are without Mayu Iwatani and Erina Yamanaka who are out with injuries of their own.
As if this writing, Marigold has not yet determined if they will keep the United National title with Yuzuki or force her to relinquish it. Yuzuki has held the title since Oct. 26, 2025.
Everyone at Monthly Puroresu wishes a speedy recovery for Victoria Yuzuki.
