Marigold Star Seri Yamaoka Appears At Sendai Girls Event, Challenges Chihiro Hashimoto To Match At GRAND DESTINY 2025

Marigold rising star Seri Yamaoka made a surprise appearance at the Sept. 28th Sendai Girls event. She showed up at the event to confront the current Sendai Girls World Champion and co-holder of the Sendai Girls Tag Team Championship Chihiro Hashimoto. Yamaoka challenged Hashimoto to a singles match for Marigold’s upcoming GRAND DESTINY 2025 event at Ryogoku Kokugikan. Hashimoto accepted the challenge although it appears to be a non-title bout.

Yamaoka tried to take down Hashimoto as the two shook hands but it lead to Hashimoto sending a message to Yamaoka with a power suplex.

Yamaoka had these comments when she was backstage following her challenge to Hashimoto:

From Seri Yamaoka:

“I’ll be challenging Hashimoto-san on October 26th at Ryogoku Kokugikan. Just now, I tried to tackle her, but I let my guard down and got thrown. But in the little time I have, I’ll get bigger, build my body for sure, and go for the win with all my heart and soul.”
