Maki Itoh States People May Have Frustratingly Called Her Trash But She Made It All The Way To STARDOM

It was back on January 10th that the pro-wrestling world found out that ‘The Cutest Pro-Wrestler In The World” Maki Itoh had officially joined the STARDOM roster. Since joining STARDOM, she has become one of it’s most popular wrestlers and brought her Itoh Respect Army to the promotion adding members Kikyo Furusawa and Rian.

On July 19th, Itoh made her debut in the prestigious STARDOM 5★STAR GP 2026 tournament in which the best of the best compete. Her first ever match in the 5★STAR GP was against the formidable Mei Seira. The two of them engaged in a terrific bout as Itoh appeared poised and ready for whatever is thrown at her in the tournament.

After a number of near falls on both competitors, Itoh was able to force Seira to tap out to her Itoh Special submission.

The win was very important for Itoh as she showed she will be competing in the tournament at top form.

After her huge victory, Itoh took to X and revealed that she has been constantly frustrated by people writing negative things about her including calling her “trash” and that she “can’t wrestle”. Itoh indicated that she never let it get her down and the end result was she made it all the to STARDOM.

But I didn’t let that get me down; I made it all the way to STARDOM, and I even won my first match at 5STAR. I came here to make my mark on the world as Maki Ito. After her hard-fought match with Seira, it’s not going to get easier for Itoh as her next STARDOM 5★STAR GP 2026 tournament match will be on July 25th at Ishikawa Industrial Exhibition Hall #2 and it will be against the very dangerous Saya Iida.
