Taichi’s KOPW Championship to Be Defended Under “Seconds Handcuffed Match”

The rules have been decided for Taichi’s defence of the King of Pro-Wrestling Championship against SHO at Destruction.

A fan-vote was recently held to decide under what rules the KOPW Championship will be contested under, and the two options were:

1. Taichi’s Rules: Seconds Handcuffed – House of Torture members will be handcuffed to Just 5 Guys
2. SHO’s Rules: Ten Minute Guaranteed Decision Match – If time elapses, then SHO wins. Black Mephisto is banned and more rules may be added due to “weight class” or otherwise.

In total, 43,334 votes were casted for the poll, and Taichi’s stipulation won with 27,185 votes, whilst SHO only got 16,148 votes.

SANADA will be handcuffed to EVIL, DOUKI will be handcuffed to Yujiro Takahashi, and TAKA Michinoku will be handcuffed to Dick Togo.

Both SHO and EVIL from House of Torture have stolen titles from their holders, with EVIL taking away the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship from SANADA and SHO stealing the KOPW Championship from Taichi.

Taichi will look to get revenge and his belt back (despite being the champion) against SHO under his own “Seconds Handcuffed” stipulation on September 24th in Kobe for Destruction.
