On Sept. 23rd, All Japan Pro-Wrestling held GIANT DREAM 2025 at the Arena Tachikawa Tachihi. There were 1,750 fans in attendance to witness the event.
The main event featured an AJPW Triple Crown Championship bout. Jun Saito made his eighth defense of the title as he faced the challenge of the 2025 Royal Road Tournament winner Kento Miyahara.
In a match that was competitive from the opening bell, both combatants brought their A game to the bout. The match featured numerous near falls as both Saito and Miyahara attempted to secure a victory.
After numerous attempts at his Shutdown Suplex, one of which Saito kicked out of, Miyahara finally landed his patented finisher which put Saito away and enabled him to emerge as the new AJPW Triple Crown Champion.

Kento Miyahara is now in his seventh reign as the AJPW Triple Crown Champion. This ties him with Suwama for the most reigns with the prestigious title.
Miyahara had these comments during his backstage post-match comments:
“What will I do as champion? Listen, I will energize Japan. And I will step into the ring as the greatest ace of Japanese professional wrestling. And as the leader of Japanese professional wrestling, I am the best man, the greatest ace Miyahara Kento, and I will provide professional wrestling fans with excitement, joy, sorrow, anger, and happiness, and an extraordinary experience. Speaking of champion, it’s my next opponent. Who will my next opponent be? I welcome anyone. However, the venue for my first defense has been set for October 22nd, Korakuen Hall, All Japan Pro Wrestling’s birthday, October 22nd.” (Via Google Translate)
Miyahara last held the Triple Crown Championship back in Feb. 2023.
