Kenta Kobashi Predicts the D-Oh Grand Prix 2023

The pro-wrestling legend Kenta Kobashi has spoken to Tokyo Sports and has given his prediction of the D-Oh Grand Prix 2023.

What many consider the greatest professional wrestler of all time has given his thoughts and has predicted the whereabouts of DDT Pro Wrestling’s D-Oh Grand Prix 2023. Kenta Kobashi has his favorites to win, but he also has advice for wrestlers who need to bring back their A-game.

As he said, in the Tokyo Sports report: “All these great athletes have what it takes to win, but right now Yuki Ueno has a lot of momentum going, and he could be the winner.” This prediction from Kobashi is really interesting considering Tetsuya Endo is also in this tournament. The BURNING leader has been on a bad streak of losses recently and has not been able to reach the level he had in 2022.

Kobashi also spoke about this matter and said something really interesting that Endo should consider: “Endo needs anger. I want him to fight with more anger. I told Endo to practice my “Rolling Chop” because that technique makes your opponent mad.”

“If Endo gets his opponent mad, he will have a bigger challenge, therefore he could be able to reach a higher level of intensity.” Kobashi specified for Tokyo Sports. When Kobashi was asked about All Japan Pro Wrestling’s Rei Saito he said something really interesting: “He’s a tag team wrestler, but I didn’t see him as a singles wrestler just yet. He could surprise us all.”

The D-Oh Grand Prix 2023 is on its way, and the only place where you can watch it is on Wrestle Universe. Will Kobashi’s predictions be on the right track? Will Endo be able to bring more intensity to his game? What could happen if Ueno wins the D-Oh as KO-D Openweight Champion? Only time will tell.
