Katsuhiko Nakajima Confronts Kento Miyahara in AJPW

Katsuhiko Nakajima’s first appearance since graduating from Pro Wrestling NOAH has been in All Japan Pro Wrestling, and he has aimed at the biggest dog in town.

The AJPW Triple Crown Championship was on the line today, with the current and reigning champion Yuma Aoyagi standing against the “Best of the Best” Kento Miyahara in a fantastic match that’s already receiving countless reviews from the AJPW aficionados. After losing, a loud scream burst out from the packed Korakuen Hall. It was none other than Katsuhiko Nakajima, who came to the show to see his wrestling brother win the big one. Nakajima had flowers on his hands, and he threw them to Miyahara’s face, reclaiming that he didn’t win.

We know the story between these two. Ever since their match at Keiji Muto’s retirement show at the Tokyo Dome, the growing tension between former training partners has been felt, and right now Nakajima and Miyahara feel like a big deal, more than any wrestler in both NOAH and AJPW. Although Nakajima is not certainly done with NOAH, due to still having his final match on the horizon, this give us a glimpse of the things he could do as a freelancer. This was never meant to be just a one night dream, because Miyahara and Nakajima have another big match on them, that will give AJPW the push they need.
