Kamiyu vs. Viva Van Set for Queen of Asia Title

Tokyo Joshi’s December 1st Korakuen Hall event will now have a championship defence on their anniversary show

By: James Carlin

Originally scheduled to be a regular singles match, Yuki Kamifuku will now put her Queen of Asia Championship on the line against Vietnamese-born Viva Van on the December 1st Korakuen Hall show. Van put the request into Singapore Pro-Wrestling, who owns the championship, which was accepted.

Kamifuku won the championship two days ago at Singapore Pro-Wrestling’s Viva La Lucha show, defeating reigning champion Alexis Lee who held the belt for 364 days, becoming the fifth person to hold the title since its establishment in 2017.

The December 1st anniversary show will also hold the finals of the Next Generation Tournament, which has been running since November 3rd. The tournament final will be HIMAWARI vs. Wakana Uehara. Uehara defeated Toga to advance and HIMWARI defeated Shino Suzuki to get to the finals.

Additionally, the December 1st Korakuen Hall show is set to be the last show for Yuka Sakazaki, who will be based out of the United States from December 2nd onwards.
