Jun Saito Will Be Out Indefinitely Due To Eye Injury, Forced to Withdraw From AJPW Champion Carnival

By: Lewis Carlan

Former All Japan Pro-Wrestling Triple Crown Champion Jun Saito received bad news earlier today. Saito injured his eye during a Champion Carnival 2026 Block B bout against Yuma Aoyagi on April 18th.

After being diagnosed, it was determined that Saito is suffering from a orbital floor fracture. Due to the nature of the injury, Saito was forced to withdraw from the Champion Carnival 2026 tournament and will be out indefinitely.

Saito was struggling during the Champion Carnival 2026 as he was winless prior to his injury. He will forfeit the remainder of his bouts in the tournament.

Everyone at Monthly Puroresu wishes Jun Saito a speedy recovery and hopes to see him back in action soon.
