Julia Hart Collects More Points in STARDOM 5★STAR GP as Blue Stars Race Continues

STARDOM were in Sendai for the seventh day of action in the 5★STAR GP, with both blocks in the Blue Stars in the spotlight. The AEW representative Julia Hart carried on her momentum, while others leapfrogged the competition to top the scoreboards.

Hart faced Hina, one of the women that the Triangle of Madness beat to become the Artist of Stardom champions. While Hina was out for some revenge and attacked early, Hart took advantage of the fracas, clocking Hina with the pink trios belt to level the playing field. While Hina did her best to battle back, she eventually found herself locked in the Hartless submission and was forced to tap.

Enjoying two wins on the bounce and four points on her tally, Hart was feeling very confident in her post-match comments.

Towards the top end of Blue Stars A and B blocks, others secured their spots at the top of the leaderboards. The World of Stardom Champion, Suzu Suzuki, came up against the towering HANAKO. Getting the face the world champion, HANAKO took full advantage of the opportunity, taking the fight right to Suzuki. A good chunk of the match took place outside the ring, with a rougher brawl favouring Suzuki. Suzuki emerged the victor, landing a Tequila Shot to put HANAKO away. The win moves Suzuki to six points, putting her alone at the top of Blue Stars A.

In Blue Stars B, two women left Sendai tied for the top spot. First, Momo Watanabe pulled off a win against Ami Sohrei, finishing her off by dropping her with the Peach Sunrise. In the main event, the Wonder of Stardom Champion, Hanan, collided with Starlight Kid. Hanan’s Backdrop Hold led her to victory, pinning Kid in the middle of the ring. As such, Watanabe and Hanan each rise to six points, and become joint leaders of Blue Stars B.

Elsewhere, others finally got out of the starting blocks. Yuna Mizumori got her first win of the tournament by defeating Kikyo Furusawa. Miyu Amasaki also got her first points with a win over Rian.

After drawing with Starlight Kid in her first match of the Grand Prix, Saya Kamitani got her first win by defeating Koguma, the Star Crusher leading her to victory. Aya Sakura also moved herself up the pack by scoring a win over Ruaka with the New Sakulatch pinning combination.
