The current GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Jack Morris & Anthony Greene knew going into their 3rd title defense against the brother tandem of Alpha Wolf & Dragon Bane that it wasn’t going to be easy. At Pro Wrestling NOAH’s CROSS OVER 2024 in SENDAI on February 4th, Los Gorpeadores gave the tag team titleholders all they could handle and more in an encounter that kept the fans on the edge of their seats. In the end, it was a Morris Tiger Driver that proved to be too much for Bane giving the GLG faction members the victory and enabled them to retain their titles.

Following their victory and realizing that this was arguably their toughest defense to date, Morris & Greene showed respect to the failed challengers. The respect, which was earned by Wolf & Bane, came in the form of a handshake after the match had been concluded. Wolf & Bane accepted the offered handshake as the fans in attendance applauded politely.

Following their loss, Los Gorpeadores expressed disappointment and expressed a desire for another opportunity at the GHC Tag Team Titles as they made these backstage comments:
Dragon Bane: “I’m disappointed that I didn’t get the title, but I’m really glad I was able to challenge and have this kind of fight.”
Alpha Wolf: “I want another chance. Los Gorpeadores will challenge again!”
