Marigold is gearing up for its big fall event: Marigold Grand Destiny 2025 at Ryogoku Kokugikan on October 26. After announcing the first two matches on the card, President Rossy Ogawa indicated that he had a major bout lined up that could get even more attention than the World Championship match between Utami Hayashishita and Miku Aono, winner of Dream Star GP 2025.
On September 25, both Ogawa and Marigold’s social media indicated that there was an important announcement for 12 p.m. on September 26 in Japan. There was a lot of speculation about it, but the announcement arrived, and it was a very pleasant surprise. Iyo Sky will return to compete at Marigold, taking advantage of her visit to Japan for WWE’s new tour there in October, and will compete at Grand Destiny 2025. Her opponent? None other than her former Thunder Rock tag team partner and rival, Mayu Iwatani.

Mayu Iwatani won it all in STARDOM and came to MARIGOLD eager to achieve many things and help the promotion grow and become one of the largest women’s organizations in the world.
Both are at the peak of their careers, producing great matches and receiving high praise from critics and fans alike. This match is called “The Dream Destiny,” and it makes perfect sense. Who will add another argument to being considered the best female wrestler in the world today? We’ll find out on October 26 at Marigold Grand Destiny 2025 in Ryogoku Kokugikan.
