House Of Torture Keeps The Momentum As DOUKI and SHO Retain The IWGP Jr. Gold

New Japan Pro Wrestling continues its tour, culminating on October 13 with King of Pro Wrestling 2025 at the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo. At the October 11 event, DOUKI and SHO of House of Torture defended the NJPW IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships against El Desperado and Kuukai.

  2. Shota Umino defeats Katsuya Murashima
  3. BULLET CLUB War Dogs (Clark Connors & Drilla Moloney) defeat House Of Torture (SANADA & Yoshinobu Kanemaru) by Count Out
  4. House Of Torture (Dick Togo, Don Fale & EVIL) defeat Oleg Boltin, Tiger Mask & Toru Yano
  5. Knockout Brothers (OSKAR & Yuto-Ice) defeat Tomoaki Honma & Yuya Uemura by referee stoppage
  6. BULLET CLUB War Dogs (David Finlay, Gabe Kidd, Gedo & Taiji Ishimori) defeat Daiki Nagai, Shingo Takagi, Titan & Yota Tsuji
  7. IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Title: House Of Torture (DOUKI & SHO) (c) defeat El Desperado & Kuukai

In the first match, we saw another quick confrontation between NJPW’s Young Lions. Kato and Matsumoto defeated Yasuda and Jay after the latter failed to get on the same page. Jay’s change of heart is still proving difficult to decipher. In the second match, Umino quickly defeated Murashima. Umino is gaining momentum ahead of their tag team championship match.

In the third match, the War Dogs defeated House of Torture by countout. Connors and Moloney continued their goal of getting revenge on SANADA for betraying them. In the fourth match, House of Torture defeated Hontai. An important victory for EVIL ahead of their match against Boltin for the NEVER Championship.

In the fifth match, the Knockout Brothers defeated Honma and Uemura by referee decision. The IWGP Tag Team Champions continue their strong run ahead of their upcoming defense against Uemura and Umino. In the sixth match, the War Dogs defeated Unffiliated. It was an important victory ahead of the matches in which both factions will face each other at King of Pro Wrestling. Can Kidd extend his reign, or will Tsuji be the one to regain the title he lost before the summer?

In the main event, House of Torture defeated El Desperado and Kuukai to retain the NJPW IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championships. It was a good match, but one that was not without the shenanigans of DOUKI and SHO. It was DOUKI’s second consecutive title victory over El Desperado. Could someone take one of his championships away from him before Wrestle Kingdom, or perhaps DOUKI will enter the Tokyo Dome as a double champion?
