Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling has announced that roster member Hikari Noa will be suspending her activites for the time being. This includes her wrestling and her performances as an idol in the Up Up Girls group.
Noa had been noticeably absent from both TJPW shows and SNS posts from her management at the Up Up Girls idol group. Her most recent match was against Maki Itoh on December 17th; having only defended the Princess Tag Team Championships just a few days prior. She was reported to have had an illness by the company, which led to Free WiFi relinquishing the championships in a press conference that only had her tag team partner, Nao Kakuta, in attendance to speak.
Due to Noa’s absence, the relatively new Up Up Girls member Uta has taken her place in performances at the start of TJPW shows and at Up Up Girls events. There is currently no word on when Noa will return – she was originally scheduled to face Masha Slamovich on January 6th.
