Hideki Suzuki’s Left Elbow Is Infected Thanks to Suwama

Hideki Suzuki’s left elbow suffered an infection. Will he fight in the World’s Strongest Tag Determination League?

Hideki Suzuki will enter the All Japan Pro Wrestling ring to fight in the World’s Strongest Tag Determination League alongside Suwama. Still, it seems that his left elbow has been infected. According to Tokyo Sports, Suzuki reached out to them and explained the issue in detail: “My elbow swelled up after the All Japan press conference for the Tag League. The cause of this was dealing with an idiot.”

Suzuki then explained what could have been the reason for this infection. In All Japan’s Korakuen show from October 21st, the promotion announced the 10 teams participating in the tournament, and just 30 minutes after said announcements Suzuki and Suwama were already fighting with each other. Suzuki wanted nothing to do with Suwama, and Suwama had no choice but to be put with Suzuki in the tournament.

When Suzuki arrived to the hospital, the doctors told him his left elbow was infected, and then he put together the pieces of the puzzle. Suwama and Suzuki already hate their guts and have been treating the other like an idiot for weeks now. In any normal circumstance, this would make them an unstable team in the Tag League and would give their opponents the advantage. Yet, their opponents will be Katsuhiko Nakajima and Hokuto Omori, who are not in the best terms.

Katsuhiko Nakajima: “There’s No Point in Appearing in the Tag League”

We don’t think these four men will be on the same page for this tournament, yet, this still sounds like a fantastic match if the planets align and we can see some chemistry and tag team action from both units. Nakajima stands as the Triple Crown Champion after all. Suzuki and Suwama, despite their differences, should make a statement and defeat Nakajima and Omori. Wouldn’t be interesting for Suzuki and Nakajima to revive some of their clashes?
